    Dark, weird and avant garde to a tee, blended with sludge, doom and noise. Strange, eerie and ambient sounds effects fill this record to create a rather frightening record at times. I was somewhat excited for this release. Rather run of the mill unfortunately. Slow riffs and distortion, sparse drumming and freakish vocals that sound like a wolf being tortured.     Metal, techno and noise fans will all find solace here, as the band juggle sounds from all three to make something that sounds new, and almost natural.

    I Shall Die Here is a bracing listen, certainly no easier than The Body’s conventional albums, and in its application of intense studio treatment, at times perhaps even more intense. But it is also a whole lot better than The Body’s 2013 album for Thrill Jockey, Christ, Redeemers.
