    Though freer than the critically acclaimed Ungodly Hour, it is also less focused. Her performance rises to greater heights, but her music doesn’t always rise with her. Still, it is a work laden with potential.

    Dipping into her lower register, she stuns as a contralto. I found myself rewinding her runs on hymnal parts of “Heart on My Sleeve” and could’ve sworn I was levitating during the awe-inspiring bridge of “Pray It Away” and “Make It Look Easy.” ... The emotionally charged conversational interludes and narrative intros (“Do you ever wonder, like, who else is fucking your man?”) are out of place amid the redundant themes and mind-numbingly online songwriting.

    This Album is a great Debut for a artist of Chloe’s caliber. With songs like ‘Pray It Away’,‘Feel Me Cry’,‘Make It Look Easy’,‘In Pieces’,This Album is a great Debut for a artist of Chloe’s caliber. With songs like ‘Pray It Away’,‘Feel Me Cry’,‘Make It Look Easy’,‘In Pieces’, ‘Worried’. Shows that Chloe is more than just a bad **** This album showed how vulnerable and how personal Chloe can get on a song. The biggest issues for me is the unnecessary features from the likes of Chris Brown and Future. And also the unnecessary autotune on ‘Cheatback’. But the biggest issues of them all is the length of the album. 37 minutes isn’t enough time to really showcase Chloe’s talent and skills as an artist and a creative. And that’s evident on songs like ‘Worried’,’Heart On My Sleeve’, ‘Pray It Away’, and ‘Feel Me Cry’. Other than that this album is stellar for a debut as a solo artist. This is a very great listen with the songs being so different but cohesive with the entirety of the project. I’m very excited to see what else she has in store for us with her solo music endeavors. She definitely has about 7-9 more albums in her to produce as a solo artist.… Expand
