Sublime. Gorgeous. Pick a glowing adjective. Saint Saviour’s In The Seams is one of the best albums of the year.

[The songs] slow drift proves compelling, in a faintly Virgina Astley way. [Jan 2015, p.131]

It's a wholesome piece of work that just keeps on giving.

Give this album time and an open heart, and you'll get an album that initially seems slate grey blooming into colour. In The Seams is Saint Saviour's best yet.

In The Seams is the most intricately beautiful auditory to coexist with. Just let it in.

In The Seams sees her settle down into a recognisable sound--a more minimal, stripped down approach than previously for sure, but one that accentuates her voice perfectly.

It’s deeply personal, plaintive and emotional, and a very lovely thing.

The crystalline sweetness of Jones' voice belies the dark melancholy that underpins songs such as "Sad Kid" and "Nobody Dies." [Jan 2015, p.78]

There’s a bit of guilt in sneaking a peek, a bit of unnecessary personal fluff and a few deeply held secrets that are gifts to receive. Ultimately, what’s most impressive about In the Seams is that Jones chooses to portray Saint Saviour in this way and stick with it throughout the entire record.

The problem lies with the unrelentingly downbeat music. [Dec 2014, p.96]
