Instrumentals 2015 is Flying Saucer Attack’s first album in 15 years, and it can only enhance their mystique.
  2. Jul 14, 2015

Instrumentals balances simplicity and depth, abrasiveness and beauty, with rare skill, reminding anyone who does not already know that Flying Saucer Attack are masters of this type of music.

There's rich melodies buried in many of these tracks. [Aug 2015, p.73]
  4. Jul 29, 2015
    80
Even with the complete lack of song-oriented material, Instrumentals 2015 serves as an interesting career overview and a welcome return of someone who I had begun to believe had slipped entirely into the light of time.
  5. Overlong at almost an hour but, largely, as pretty and organic as crystal.
  6. Sep 1, 2015

At over an hour, Instrumentals may try the patience of anyone not already acclimated to Pearce’s mood-driven vision. But fans who can’t get enough of his distinctive approach to composition and performance may find this record to be the purest expression of FSAness yet.

There's little to grasp here, the chiming guitar of 11 and blustery feedback of 6 excepted. [Aug 2015, p.106]
