    Numan’s consistency is also his biggest downfall. There’s simply no reason to listen to Intruder if you’ve heard any of the albums he’s released in the past decade, because it’s virtually identical to his previous works.

Numan diffuses some of that darkness with the tattered remnants of what was once called hope. Lyrically and musically the album is near flawless. Both are rich, layered, vibrant and, let's face it, dark and deliciously pure Numan. Numan has cemented his dominance atop the electronic music genre and rightfully so. Treat yourself and listen to "Intruder" with your headphones on. It's an amazing album that doesn't disappoint.
