Pure audio prozac! Play this to get suicidal people off their ledge.

Brilliant. Couldn't quite keep me going to the end of the album but that doesn't detract from what is a beautifully crafted album.

Maybe not his best album to date and there might not be any stand out songs (Happy Day Today comes darn close though) but Jim Noir is still an inspiring listen.

More keyboard/synth adds another level to Noir's already unique style. Solid effort from start to finish.

This is a so-so throwback from the late 60's through modern day. The overall critical score is a bit too high for an average album.

  1. The only problem with the record is that there are no stand-out tracks.... That could be a fatal flaw except that the overall quality of the record is so high and the sound is so perfect, you don't feel like there is something so terribly important missing.

The final result sounds like the perfect accompainment to a Michel Gondry film: endlessly craetive, ceaselessly ambitious, yet extremely accessible at thge very same time. [Spring 2008, p.103]
  3. His continually entertaining and tuneful approach should pick up many more fans over the summer, and those that found their way in through tracks such as 'Eany Meany' won't be in a hurry to up sticks either.
