    This album will never be as popular as Permission to land but it's still a great album. This album is the darkness really sticking to whatThis album will never be as popular as Permission to land but it's still a great album. This album is the darkness really sticking to what they love rather than bowing down to the pressure of producing something that will chart. Some brilliant guitar work on this album, some of the riffs are infectious and as always some nice solos that are not overkill but really add to the songs. You need to listen to the album a few times to really appreciate it in my opinion.… Expand

    It's a great album rife with the thing we rockers are missing the most: hard, heavy sound. Mudslide and other songs feel fresh without leavingIt's a great album rife with the thing we rockers are missing the most: hard, heavy sound. Mudslide and other songs feel fresh without leaving behind The Darkness' trademark 80's Glam Rock sounding. I think the only downside is that, though they came sorta close, they still didn't manage to pull off the same heavy weight the first album did.… Collapse
