Not a great release but overlooked. It doesn't sound bad. There are a couple of great tracks though like the title track and Good Times

It may not be the rock that All Time Low is used to be known for, but the soul of the band is still within the depths of the record. Highlights of the album are Good Times, Dirty Laundry, Life of a Party, Nightmare and the bonus track, Vampire Shift. Expand

Several bold steps forward, while looking back over one shoulder. [27 May 2017, p.50]

Its delicate, sparse build-and-explode approach is largely typical of what Last Young Renegade has to offer--anthemic yet atmospheric songs that are subtly affecting.

This is a focused collection of intense emotional energy, but vocal effects, programmed beats, and atmospheric production take center stage instead of raucous riffs and pounding drums. Fans of their classic sound may be left wanting, but enough of that punk attitude remains, preventing this album from being a total curve ball.
