Legacy + is a unique intergenerational conversation on wax. Both halves are set in Afrobeat, while one sticks more to the tradition than the other, and the contrast is beautiful to hear. [Apr 2021, p.58]

Both halves of Legacy + prove the Kuti continuum to be in rude health. [Mar 2021, p.86]

Taken on its own, Stop the Hate is a pleasing if somewhat unremarkable continuation of the Afrobeat canon, yet it serves to lay the foundations for Made’s second half, For(e)ward. Where Femi’s voice is endearingly wavering, the younger Kuti is far more forceful.

What Legacy+ offers is a merging of Fela’s legend, Femi’s unrelenting struggle, and Made’s extension of the genre: three generations of Arobeats in one place.

"The full album could just be simplifield in one song"

The album has a great instrumental, but it's so annoying of how repetitive it is, seriously, the first side of the album is almost one hour, filled with the same type of melody over and over.

Sincerely, I don't see me listening to this album again.
