    His tendency to hurl the same emotional intensity into every syllable (loud, soft, high, low, new idea or repetition) gets wearing. It doesn’t help that the melodies are often simplistic to the point of forgettable and the production seldom leaves a space unfilled.
  7. In music, there are few things more tiresome than an artist obsessed with the idea of authenticity – they usually forget how to have fun. And this is a trap that Rag’N’Bone Man’s second album ‘Life in Misadventure’ falls straight into.

    Rag 'n' Bone Man is making some odd choices with his career and I think he's shooting himself in the foot here with a pretty middle of theRag 'n' Bone Man is making some odd choices with his career and I think he's shooting himself in the foot here with a pretty middle of the road album. I mean, it's ok, but it can get repetitive and boring at times however behind it is a man with an incredible voice who has shown in the past that he can make songs that have an edge and character to them. Personally I think he needs to go back to that otherwise he risks disappearing completely. Expand
