    Lover may not sound totally unheard of, but it comes from a very different Taylor from all other albums, and that's what makes this album so amazing that it floods us with its deepest feelings. A few times an album has shown so much about a person's heart, and Lover does it perfectly!

    This is album of the year. Lover is the absolute best of 2019. Taylor once again proves she is still a great songwriter and can sing with such raw emotion in her voice. Not once does she come across as boring. While first two singles were pretty good, the rest of the songs on the album are honestly way better.     This is a very solid pop album, never expected that after awful lead single. Seriously ME! should be deleted or erased from the record. Speaking of the music production and instrumental, they are surprisingly weird, unique but very refreshing. Lyrically, it's a classic Swiftian.

    It's the only album that I've heard in full from Taylor Swift, and it's pretty good! However it's first two singles are kinda childish for me. But "The Archer" and "Lover" are so beautiful songs ("Lover" is my favorite from this album).

    This album is one of the most personal albums for Taylor. As she had said, she has opened her diary metaphorically but in this time she did it literally. Is an album full of love but involves all the types of love. Since the love for your partner to the love for your mom and friends. It's captivating how she tells every story with a well balanced and thoughtful rhythm.

    Amazing album. I'm obsessed with that. I loved all the tracks. I honestly didn't expect this album to be this good. Cruel Summer, I Think He Knows, London Boy, Death by a Thousand Cuts, Paper Rings, I Forgot That You Existed and The Man are easily the best tracks.     This album has showcases the best and worst of Taylor. The album is a swift misdirection from it's predecessor, Reputation. Songs like Cruel Summer, Cornelia Street, London Boy, False God, and Death By A Thousand Cuts could have easily earned this album a 9 out of 10, but sadly songs like ME! and The Man anchor it in place.

    From all albums that she put out this is clearly my favourite. I think it is sooo cohesive and literally there is not a single filler. Every track just tells a story and most importantly there is positivity in every each one of them and what can I say, I JUST LOVE THIS ALBUM.

    Although "1989" will always remain my favorite, But I gotta say this album is pretty amazing. Taylor changed her direction and The snake became a Butterfly. most of the songs are deep love songs and i believe many people can enjoy them.

    Like many Taylor Swift albums, the quality of the album cannot be judged by the lead single. You need to listen to the album all the way through before making a judgement. Here we see Swift complete a full character metamorphosis from 2017's 'reputation'. The opening track 'I Forgot You Existed' is a bridge between 'reputation' and 'Lover'. A love letter to a place (London Boy), a mother (Soon You'll Get Better), self-love (ME!) and also to toxic people and relationships (Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince, Afterglow). So does this album top 'reputation'? For me no, BUT it is now my second favourite to the aforementioned album. The album deserves all the hype and deserves all the awards.… Expand

    incredible album from a best pop star of our generation. Surpassed my expectations and blew them out of the water.

    The album is incredible. Very poppy and nothing Taylor has done before. Taylor shows a lot of new emotion and vulnerability in this album.

    Ultimately, Lover is overstuffed and meandering, but serves as a positive reprieve from her past struggles in the public eye, and represents an artist at the peak of her creativity, power, and—one hopes—continued romantic bliss.

    Lover is a fabulous record, full of super-fun standout pop hits that make your heart burst. It oozes with Swift’s much more palatable upbeat sass. She’s in love and also thinking about different kinds of love.
