Even with the online version trimmed to his ex-label's liking, LP! is a riveting display of hip-hop steeped in its future while also embracing all the music Peggy has consumed up until this point.

Art-rap that refuses to be hemmed in, ‘LP!’ excels by tapping in to the rapper’s undoubted verbal virtuosity, while augmenting it with blistering production. Another triumph from one of rap’s true creative visionaries.
  3. JPEGMafia still keeps his integrity no matter what – continually putting out a high standard of work in the process.

His raps land firmly within the established pockets of beats, but each song is so distinct and JPEG’s writing is so fluid and witty that no two moments within the album’s humid atmosphere sound the same.

'LP!' is an adventure for the ear. This record is modern, experimental, addicting, catchy, and fun. JPEGMAFIA's flows on 'REBOUND!', 'OG!','LP!' is an adventure for the ear. This record is modern, experimental, addicting, catchy, and fun. JPEGMAFIA's flows on 'REBOUND!', 'OG!', and 'CUTIE PIE!' really get your head moving and pulls you into the song. The only downside to the album to my opinion is the mixing and mastering of some of the tracks. The bass can be overpowering the vocals or vocals can be too quiet and drowned out. Other than that, this is a great record that I would love to see win awards. Full Review »
