This album is confusing. Sometimes less is more, maybe a 10 tracks album would have been better.
She can sing but a lot of the songs don't really showcase her range. This album lack songs like "Say love" / "Save my Soul"
Remy Ma is not a good feature on FAB, beside her verse and JOJO ruff flow at the beginning FAB is really good.

JoJo tried very hard, but it is not the best album. In this album there are only two songs that are of value: FAB and F*ck apologies . The rest of the album is very boring

It’s an accomplished if somewhat safe set of songs; a JoJo on the cusp of finding her range.

While JoJo sounds great on big ballads and floor-filling tracks alike, Mad Love. lacks a cohesive sound. The abrupt genre shifts are jarring at turns, but paradoxically it’s this malleability that should be key to JoJo’s continued success.

It's all slick, sassy and infectious, but she's clearly capable of being much more besides. [Dec 2016, p.109]
