    Amazing album, truly portrays de essence of BTS and their members. Friends is probably the most precious song melody-and-lyrics wise I have ever heard in my entire life. BTS’ members were truly meant to be a group.

    This album continues the journey of 7 young men, it's their story. The real-ness and sincerity shines bright. Each track completely different in blended genre's and mood. I believe this is another milestone for BTS and I'm on board.

    Amazing how they are the only artists to envolve some topics with musics and still manage to wonder people all around the world and making them want to understand them, to search for more answers, to make people study different things like Carl Jung so they can know better the whole concept of the lyrics.

    One of the best albums of this year. Each track tells us a different story of their own lives and in a sort of biographical way. The persona, the fame and its darkness , the ego all in one album presents us a beautiful story.

    Woah! All songs on this album are really good! Their vocal and rap is amazing. And the tittle track "ON" is soooo good. One of my favorite songs on this album is "Moon". This song is about their love to their fans called "ARMY". I really love the lyrics, its beautiful. And i think BTS really deserve more achievement from this album.

The album contain 20 track, 5 from their latest EP Map of the soul : Persona and 15 new song with a lot of genre, its Pop, R&B, hip hop, rap rock, trap, EDM. My personal favorite track its 00:00 Zero o'clock is a sincere soft-pop ballad. Lyrically, it is about reminding everyone to stay happy no matter what they are going through and that everyday is a fresh start. Another song is black swan this song tells about their fear of losing their love for music. Actually theres a lot of really amazimg song in this album, please give it a try, you're not going to be disappointed. thank you.… Expand

    This album is very promising the way they explore their past, their inner child, their friendship, their pains, the critic they got from society, media, and industry it really hits hard the lyrics are out of the world the melodies they create are so refreshing. The vocals shine very distinctively in this album as well as the rap line snapped in their respective songs. I really love this album

    They never fail to amaze me. All the songs are amazing, but I'd like to highlight the beautiful sequence created by Filter, My Time and Louder than bombs. Even tho they carry totally different messages, we can see that in the solos and LTB the emotions and everything they want to convey is really clear. The way they talk openly about their feelings about the bad side of being famous, and how they wanted to achieve it so bad, but it has its dark side too.     7 is a very enjoyable and highly emotional album. The main point was to translate the members feelings over the seven years they've been together, about their connection as 7 individuals that learned to respect and lean on each other and their personal journey. No doubts, MOTS:7 did it spendidly.

    I've been following BTS since long time ago and they have always give all I’m their albums but this one feels so personal and so beautiful, I enjoy every song and I appreciate how they put their uniqueness in music.

    You can truely feel how this album is theirs - the lyrics, the music, the production. its all very beautiful and tells an amazing story. Personally, this is my favourite album of the year and i dont think it will be topped by anything else. Also would consider this BTS' best work to date. I really recommend giving it a listen, it is truely worth it!

    BTS surprises us once again delivering an innovative and joyful album. The first part of the album addresses the shadows and hardships of living as a musician, but its reflections could be useful for everyone who ever questioned its own path in life. The second part goes beyond the shadows to show gratitude towards what they have achieved in a very honest manner.

I am no music expert, but I believe when critics or anyone who listens to this album rate it, they always miss out on trying to read the translation of the lyrics which plays an important role in music. Nowadays people focus on the beat, instead of the lyrics, which I believe takes away the whole experience of listening music. However, BTS has proved that they do not slack off with their lyric writing and poured their heart out into this album. From Suga revealing his inner conflict with the fame he is currently receiving as being now one of the top artists in the world in "Interlude: Shadow" to BTS's worries and fears of losing their passion on the stage in "Black Swan" to their undying appreciation for their fans supporting them despite of all the pain and despair they faced in "We Are Bulletproof: Eternal" to J-Hope's determination and confidence to pursue his current pathway as an artist, BTS managed to convey their journey as a group who have been together for 7 years and who also have the support of their most loyal fandom, ARMY. Their title song, "ON," is their anthem showing that they will continue to work hard and stay true to their message and beliefs despite all the hate they receive. If you are unaware of BTS's message and beliefs, they all believe in providing music that heals and gives comfort and happiness to those who listen to it. In the lyrics, they also accept who they are and show their determination to not give up their love for the stage and their passion in music. Once again in this album, the vocal line, Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, and V, provide us soothing and emotional-provoking vocals in "00:00," which portrays the group's desire for their fans to stay happy no matter what while the rap line, RM, Suga, and J-Hope, engage in complex, but fun and thought-provoking, wordplay that discusses their haters' unnecessary rage and hate towards the group. In this album, we also see new tracks from the vocal line, which ranges from Jungkook discussing about himself missing out many things during his childhood due to the fact he debuted as BTS at the age of 15 in "My Time" to V depicting his journey of his self changing through time and accepting that change in "Inner Child" to Jimin telling how he has to show or change many different sides of himself for the satisfaction of others in "Filter" to Jin explaining his love for ARMY and his appreciation for them supporting him and the group in "Moon." Also, we cannot forget RM starting off the album with him questioning who he truly is and who he wants to be in "Persona," which is also found in their previous album, "Map of the Soul: Persona." I would like to continue to talk about the other tracks, but I believe I should stop here since I wrote a long review. Yes, it is true that I am biased with BTS, but isn't everyone biased on some things? No matter what this is just my personal take on this album, and of course I am not saying my personal take is the ultimate truth. People have different tastes in music, so it is totally fine that BTS's music does not fit your vibe. However, I believe this album is BTS's best work out of all the works they have created because it shows their journey and maturity as artists and is probably THE album that shows the boys' rawest feelings and emotions. I also appreciate how all of the members of this group participated in composing and writing the lyrics in this album. Hopefully, I wish you all of those who like, have some interest in, or absolutely dislike BTS listen to their music with an open mind and without prejudice.… Expand

However, in return, we also see how the South Korean band overcame all of these difficulties, finally being comfortable with their art, with others and with themselves.     I felt a new feeling listen to this album, something really precious and rare. Congrats to bts, they overcome themselves. I love that they have the power to reinvent themselves, this is art and is amazing!

    This album has everything you're looking for. It has soft to hard-hitting songs that will get you pumped up. It's interesting how songs with great diversity come together as a cohesive album.

    From 'Persona' to 'Outro: Ego: the album tells a nice story to be read. It is light, sophisticated, with deep letters. Certainly the career album. BTS remains the best.

    7 is truly a stand-out album in the modern music scene. Cohesive, fresh, sentimental, introspective, therapeutic. The lyrics convey Jung's lessons, but also an artist's life at the same time, in a perfect way, by starting off with Intro: Persona (an old-school hipop song with 90s' rock-ish vibes) questing your true identity, continuing with Interlude: Shadow (an emo hiphop song with a7 is truly a stand-out album in the modern music scene. Cohesive, fresh, sentimental, introspective, therapeutic. The lyrics convey Jung's lessons, but also an artist's life at the same time, in a perfect way, by starting off with Intro: Persona (an old-school hipop song with 90s' rock-ish vibes) questing your true identity, continuing with Interlude: Shadow (an emo hiphop song with a claustrophobic and disturbing effect) facing your unconsciousness and finally ending with Outro: Ego (a dance pop with African festive rhythms) embracing your true self as a whole (concluding the process of individuation).
    All the songs in between show how versatile and extremely talented musicians BTS are. Jumping from funk pop (Boy With Luv) to r&b (My Time), synth-pop (Jamais Vu), rock (Dionysus), cloud rap/r&b (Black Swan), Latin pop (Filter), Ballad (00:00), indie (Inner Child) etc.
    All of this equipped with profound lyrics inspired by the members' personal experiences hand-in-hand with references from: mythology (Dionysus - the Greek God of Wine, but also a symbol of irrationality); psychology (Interlude: Shadow - the unconsciousness, the darkest and most intimate part of psyche, everything you have repressed); Martha Graham (Black Swan - dying the first death, the lost of your passion) and much more.    … Expand

    The most beautifully produced album by far from the band. Although it tackles a lot more personal aspects about each member’s thought and identity, the album’s production quality outdoes itself. Deserving of every praise!!

    In my opinion, it's the best album in their career. The mix of genres makes it even more exciting to listen to but the lyrics are the best part of this record. I love every minute of it.

    o último trabalho do bts, o ep 'Map of The Soul : Persona', não me agradou tanto, por isso não criei muitas expectativas para esse novo álbum, porém eles me surpreenderam e entregaram um ótimo trabalho. mots7 aoty e não adianta chorar.

This MOTS: 7 album shows a clearly visible maturity of BTS over these 7 years, but what surprised me the most is that the sound of this album has nothing to do with what I've heard from BTS before and I loved it. This album is simply impeccable and in my view, it surpassed the incredible construction of the also acclaimed WINGS album. Congratulations BTS, you did an amazing team work on this album.     This is the best album I've heard in the past few years. BTS once again outdid themselves, beautiful lyrics, incredible beats... Personal favorite songs: Black Swan, UGH!, Friends and We are Bulletproof: the Eternal.

    The only way I can describe this album is as an amazing journey, each track has it's own personality and it really shows us how talented and diverse BTS' members are, showcasing their rap and singing skills, in my opinion this is on of the few albums that has no skips. My favorite tracks were ''My time'', ''Filter'', ''Blak Swan'' and ''ON''.

    Persona lacked the natural fluidity and chicness of their best music. Those problems aren’t exactly mitigated here, since most of those songs appear on this album too, but within this new context, they feel like a flashback before the saga continues. Many of the new songs are better about balancing Easter eggs for day-ones with new entry points for more casual listeners.
