Feb 13, 2022This album started great. Great songs with great production and even great transitions, but as it progressed, the songs started to get monotonous, with only a few standing out, but regardless of that, one can still enjoy the album as a whole.

Jun 6, 2013Something lacks in this one, but not something huge. This album still rides on Pump It, Don't Lie, Don't Phunk With my Heart, and more. Not only good hip hop, but good music to move to.

CaseyRDubyaMay 10, 2007they say the Smiths and Marlyn Manson are know for causing suicides. Try listening to My Humps all the way through. Is Fergie a camel or a whale? You have humps you better go to a doctor. And stay there. And please never make music again. This album is a masterpiece compared to Fergie's record.

DarylLJun 30, 2006Goodness, the stupidity of this album cannot be underestimated. It has the ability to make you feel as if you've just been dumbed down several hundred IQ points. Really, just pathetic, horrific and unlistenable.

ThomasDJan 29, 2006Most fun I've had listening to an album in a long time. By no means is it ground breaking or inspirational, but it does provide sufficient beats for when you're on the dance floor.

-
LeviMJan 7, 2006Nothing special. "My Humps" is completely tasteless. There are many different alternatives for this album that don't talk about milk and cocoa puffs. Bottom Line: Don't waste the money.
-
-
ValD.Dec 21, 2005This is absolutely terrible, especially "My Humps." What person in their right mind wants to hear how guys buy stuff for a girl because she has some nice "humps"? What self-respecting teenage girl can listen to that? Certainly not me.

chadwikNov 7, 2005each of their songs is just one of their other songs chewed up and spat out as somthing equally rubbish. all sounds the same. and that woman loves herself too much

MaxMOct 23, 2005I love the black eyed peas. These reviews are stupid. This album rocks!!! Way better that Ashlee Simpson. This diserves a 10. Even though some songs do stink.

IvyCOct 2, 2005I love this CD...it's the first I've heard from The Black Eyed Peas. I wasn't overly impressed with them as a whole, until I took a chance on this CD. It stays in rotation in my car and on my computer.

StormieHSep 13, 2005Pitiful. What was once a ok rap group has become a hopeless main stream band. The songs are boring and they don't make me want to dance, they make me want to puke.

-
-
zippyzeeAug 25, 2005Structured, formula pop music. Nothing stands out as being original. Don't waste your money on this, don't even download it. Show them you're smarter than they think you are by not buying into this generic, uninspired crap.
-
-
LuluAug 14, 2005This album is brilliant, it shows how they have grown as a band from their previous album. Anyone who wants to get up and dance will love this album, blasting it in their cars or playing it at bbq's. It is definately the summers new album. Well done!!

ALANRJul 24, 2005This is pop. MTV fans are all over this. People who actually like music can hear it for what it is, CHA-CHING. Money makin', money money makin'...and that's it.
-
-
CiCiGJul 12, 2005I like this C.D. BEP's are all about positive hip hop...I like how their lyrics are laced with cuss words and "gangsta" crap...it's great to hear positive music these days. Yeah, some of the songs sound a little popish, but i like it overall!
-
-
AnneWJul 8, 2005I am a bit split on this one. Some of the songs are fantastic. Pump It is my favorite. All of the songs are very danceable and there is even a good song with James Brown. However, some of the songs are not interesting at all. The worst one for me is a song done with Justin Timberlake. Why him? This is a great for dancing, drinking or working out.
-
-
JamieSJul 6, 2005If you want to "party" this is the album ya should get! Dont miss out, BEP is F-R-E-S-H (Fresh)

SamFJun 29, 2005it is hard to beat Elephunk - but this is a great CD - fun, danceable...definately want to move in your seat while driving. Lyrics are worth listening for. Fun, Fun, Fun!!

-
KGJun 27, 2005Never heard Black Eyed Peas before. This is an excellent album. I went and got all of their music based on this Cd alone. Awesome.
-
-
RussHJun 27, 2005Pop this CD in for parties, its perfect for it. BEP just wants to party..nothing wrong with that! The reason for the negative reviews: The columnists were expecting something deep.
-

-
MdubJun 14, 2005A diverse, fun hip-hop cd with a myriad of styles, such as reggae, funk, dance, and of course, hip hop. It kicks off with the thumpin' Pump it, and remains great throughout. Best tracks: Don't phunk with my heart, Gone going gone, They dont want music
-
-
EchoBJun 13, 2005This CD is a beautiful piece off art and composition. I am always fascinated when music really moves me literally and figuratively. The time and effort that was put into each song is apparent, great job. The last song on the CD, Unity... WOW!!!
-
-
CraigJun 13, 2005wow, never did i think i would see a group this bad. This is pathetic. How could people ever listen to this rubbish. Plus, it's a candidate for stupidest, most ridiculous, cheesiest album sleeve of all time. Don't contribute to this nonsense.
-
-
mininaenaebobJun 11, 2005I thought this was a very good c.d. It might take some getting used to, but overall it is very very good.

-
-
PatrickBJun 9, 2005Not as good as Elephunk, but that was inevitable. I love to crank up "They Don't Want Music", but I'm 44.
-
-
LauraMJun 8, 2005Gloriously entertaining. Some wonderful emotive track and some dancy hip-hop songs : what more could you expect? Country?
-
-
HarvardBJun 8, 2005Unique and fresh album consisting of a great variety of styles including Pilipino, Jamaican, Rap, Hip-hop, and an intriguing Beach-sound. Different from the Elephunk record, but the new tracks are phunky and fresh. You can't resist from bobbin' your head and wanting to get down to this album. The Peas were not affraid of change and they got down to "Business." Love the album!!!
-
-
jssJun 7, 2005Album full of fun hip-hop tracks. They don't pretend that it is anything else. Several of the songs are destinted to be radio hits. Look for this album to do well over the next year

JasmineJJun 7, 2005This is BEP"s best album. I don't know why people r dissing them because they changed their music. Everyone needs to change. They wanted to try something new. I LOVE U BEP ( I AM A TRUE FAN!!)

-
KirstenBJun 7, 2005It is a great CD! It has so many different styles of music! Every1 should buy it!
-
-
LockneOJun 7, 2005The Black Eyed Peas truly hit it big with this album. Elephunk didn't get the best reviews, but Monkey Business is out of this world. The other reviewers must be CrAzY, because I loved this album, with James Brown, Justin Timberlake, Sting, and more. It's really great, and I suggest you get this album today!
-
-
mtJun 7, 2005wow, pathetic in the extreme. commendable i suppose..also i cant stand jack johnson
-
-
THJun 6, 2005An album unable to decide whether it's unoriginal, boring, or simply inane -- so it settles for being all three. Best cuts: "Feel It" and "Disco Club" are the pick of this particular bit of refuse.
-
-
RyanCJun 6, 2005ouch. all been down hill since that first gem of an album, 'behind the front'.
-
-
EvaMJun 6, 2005Stylish, hip and super-cool, everything that you could expect from a B.E.P album. Wonderful.
-
-
DanielJPJun 6, 2005Black Eyed Peas are more the heirs of De La Soul than NWA, although not particularly similar. More textured than Elephunk, their sense of soul searching fun on Monkey Business makes for a fresh and orginal record
