    I'm sure this was all a well orchestrated joke, this lavishing of praise on a band so dry and soulless that they might not even exist. Matchbox Twenty (no, I refuse to spell it lowercase: a band this terrible does not get to rewrite the rules of english) embodies everything banal, amelodic, and forgettable in popular music. There isn't anything distinct about their music, aside I'm sure this was all a well orchestrated joke, this lavishing of praise on a band so dry and soulless that they might not even exist. Matchbox Twenty (no, I refuse to spell it lowercase: a band this terrible does not get to rewrite the rules of english) embodies everything banal, amelodic, and forgettable in popular music. There isn't anything distinct about their music, aside from their ability to transmute melody into treacle In short, this album could be compared to the following items: unsweetened oatmeal, the color beige, lukewarm water, or a big bowl of feces.
