The album, while inevitably stuffed with humour as per the MO of any good rap set, is as dark as coffee, especially as it comes to its close.

It's appropriate imagery: Mount Ninji is a hedonistic party in a trash heap.

Though Mount Ninji and Da Nice Time Kid is a far from perfect record, it proves that Die Antwoord have still got life in them yet, despite the recent hyperbole.

As Die Antwoord's energy level putters out, so too does Mount Ninji, an album too faded and immature to make a lasting dent on the face of hip-hop.

This album, compared to the rest are more popish and radio-friendly. There is less rap, I think. Producers did a very good job. There are some songs I didn't like, but overall the album is pretty cool. Full Review »

I would give Mount Ninji a 0, however it does prove it has originality, though none of it plays well. The whole album is basically what hellI would give Mount Ninji a 0, however it does prove it has originality, though none of it plays well. The whole album is basically what hell sounds like to me and in trying to understand Die Antwoord's appeal, I find myself looking for a diamond in a pile of dung. Full Review »
