They feel energised with Keenan back in the fold, and while the pronounced riffs on the introduction of “Little Man” might hark back to their hardcore days, the emphasis here is on groove. [Feb 2018, p.46]

Guitarist/vocalist Pepper Keenan, guitarist Woody Weatherman, bassist Mike Dean and drummer Reed Mullin still have an undeniable chemistry, and No Cross No Crown is a satisfying return to form.

Even with thirty-plus years behind them, Corrosion of Conformity can still reach the nosebleed seats without sacrificing any integrity. It may all feel a little familiar, but it still burns going down.

C.O.C. stuck to their guns at the beginning of the decade, and now they’ve got a more formidable arsenal behind them. If there’s something they could learn from their Animosity days, though, it would be keeping a slim track list.

Solid album with plenty of blues and doom influences. Great to see Pepper Keenan back with a solid effort after nearly 13 years away. LetsSolid album with plenty of blues and doom influences. Great to see Pepper Keenan back with a solid effort after nearly 13 years away. Lets just hope there is less time between drinks for the next album! If they can build on what they created here then their next masterpiece is not far away. Overall a very solid album with a few classics and very few filler. 8/10 Expand
