I love when artists create material that connects with past or even future projects. Logic has been one of my favorite rappers in the last 10 years when i first came across his 'Young Sinatra' mixtapes on Datpiff. When his music came into my life, everything changed. There have only been a handful of MC's that have shown me new rhyme flows (Biggie, Raekwon, Nas, Big L, Guru of Gang Starr, KRS-One, Pharaoh Monch etc) and he 100% did that for me when from the very first tune i experienced. Hearing that he was ending his rap career after this last album, saddened me immensely, but i knew that he was doing what was best for himself & his new chapter in life. I went into this album, like i go into any album & that's with an open mind. Basically a blank slate. I sat on my bed last Thursday night, streaming the album on my Spotify & just vibing out to the maximum. The title speaks for itself & he's essentially just having fun on the entire thing. There was never a spot or moment within the entire album, where i was enjoying it supremely. This is easily one of his best efforts out of everything he has released. I will absolutely keep this in my rotation for as long as I'm alive. He's leaving on a very high note in his career & I only have mad respect for him. Thank you for all that you've done & how you've impacted my life.

    One Love,

This album is a huge comeback for Logic. No I.D. and 6ix's production skills are off the charts and make this album really good. That's not to discredit Logic, though. The album has no bad songs, though I would say "A2Z" was a bit weak and corny with the production. This really doesn't make that much of a dent in the album, with there being 16 tracks, and the pace picks right up after the song. "Dadbod" is a really great and funny track, and it is clearly influenced by some of Eminem's older works, but not to the point where it's blatantly ripping off Eminem in any way. There are also a lot of other good tracks like "Hit My Line," "Perfect," "Dark Place," and "GP4." Overall, this is Logic's best commercial release. He really seems to come to terms with the things he's rapped about, his fanbase, and his life overall. An amazing sendoff for any Logic fan, and a great album in general. Expand

It’s good. It’s almost as logic and no id just listened to OutKast and were like “let’s do that” and that’s the album. Which honestly it’s not that bad considering that’s one of the best if not the best hip hop duos ever. No Pressure is what every logic fan needed and then some. It encapsulates everything we love about him and the added touch of this being his retirement album makes it all the more sentimental.

This could definitely be album of the year, it’s honestly Logic’s best project so far. I will forever respect logic for the humble, kind-hearted and talented person he is too, he had an amazing career.

It's honestly a great album. After a long 6 years of getting beat down time and time again by the industry, he comes to terms with everything he's been through, reflects on his past, and lays his career to rest in order to be a great dad.

Great boom bap sounds, superb production and an incredible lyrical complexity. this album is what rap was born for, and what rap should be these days. Rap albums with a classic yet so modern sound are rare these days, and finding something that once again goes against the over-commercialized music industry is enough to justify a 10 for No Pressure.
