    This is a brilliant--and brilliantly brutal--collection; pulsing dance music that, for all its heaviness and techno sensibilities, retains a glimmer of pop accessibility because it’s so well pieced together and just so much fucking fun. Viva The Prodigy.

    At times, No Tourists feels like a companion to their debut. That was the night out and this is the morning after’s hangover. While this isn’t vintage Prodigy, it gets pretty damn close and gives hope there is still life in the old dog yet.

    No Tourists is unlikely to win The Prodigy any new fans but it’s unlikely to upset any existing ones. And really, if rave-influenced industrial dance is your thing, these old heads are still a cut above anyone else out there.

    ‘Timebomb Zone’s ugly rave onslaught strikes first – you feel the stretch of a wince appear. ‘Champions of London’ and ‘Boom Boom Tap’ follow up with a one-two punch; you never saw it coming. Maybe ‘Give Me A Signal’ would be a late highlight, and it is, unless you’ve heard ‘Higher State Of Consciousness’ more than once, or ‘Poison’, for that matter. You never stood a chance. The only reasons to recommend this record over its predecessor is that it’s shorter and doesn’t have Sleaford Mods on it.

    No tourists the track is TFOTL meets James Bond meets Gun Reprise. Its like it was riped of the fat of the land and put in no tourists. Im gonna go that far to say its New mindfields. Epic track

    Timebomb zone. Reaction when u heard it is like the first time u heard wd. Indeed. Old skool one. Alfonso samples, pitched. Dance energy ready for a soundtrack of some highspeed racing Game.

    Boom Tap was the weakest but that **** is a grower.

    Give me a signal. Can You heaaar me. Pure 303 madness.

    Resonate. Its the pure formula prodigy track.

    Champions of London ultimate dnb experience by Liam lead by Vocals of maxim and Keef. Pure fire.

Would've love to have some more tracks in this style but we might get some more soon.

С большим уважением отношусь к творчеству Хоулетта, учитывая его прошлые заслуги (по моему мнению все альбомы до IMD включительно). TDIME был IMD part 2 во всех отношениях, но No Tourists.. не выдерживает никакой критики: звук плоский, однообразный, треки сведены ужасно. Сырость здесь совсем не к лицу, запитченный вокал отдает нафталином, хотя и отсылает к отличному «Experience», но только мгновениями. Идеи No Tourists повторяют то, что было написано в эру IMD , но делает это на три головы ниже. Прошло три года с момента выхода, но я не испытал других чувств. Ставлю 2: 1 балл за одноименный трек и ещё один за обложку и оформление – она действительно одна из лучших на мой вкус (те, кто говорит, что мол легко критиковать, купи альбом, послушай, там другой звук и т.д. - я купил пластинку и поддержал таким образом группу, но беда в том, что звук на носителе такой же пережатый и плохой. Очень надеюсь, что когда-то выйдет что-то более сильное, иначе и пытаться не стоит.… Expand
