    Sounds like something a legend would do, the first half is sensual, with its California face, and even light-hearted in "Venice **** and "Love song". Lana even talks about despair and melancholy, but in general she's comforting people who feel that way.

    The piano ballads, with the acoustic guitar sets the tone for this beachy moody record. I can totally picture someone driving down the pch while listening to doin time with the guitar playing. Overall the concoction of this album is such a master piece

    After a failed experiment (in my opinion) in Lust for Life and criticism over cliched lyricism, Lana Del Rey puts together arguably her best album yet. Beautiful instrumentals, haunting lyrics unlike other songs we’ve seen by her, and just great care put into each and every song.

    Miss Lana Del Rey outdid herself. This album is really good and one of the most personal ones. She gives us all the summer love vibes we needed. Mixing guitars, piano and the magic of her voice Elizabeth and Jack Antonoff gave us the next Grammy for best album of the year.

    It's a remarkably sharp pop record that retains her fascination with pop-culture iconography and the rosey simplicity of a post-war America where classic rock and blue jeans ruled and takes them to much deeper places. ... Think of it as an hour-long car ride peeling down the highway with classic rock blaring out of the radio and no real destination in mind other than where your impulsive nature might take you.
