    As far as simplistic and generic post-rock goes it’s fantastically inoffensive. Yet with the face of the genre ever changing, God is an Astronaut and their sixth are slowly becoming a relic of the past.

    Even though it didn't suceed to be a masterpiece in my opinion, still has a strong effect. The band brings out more astral elements and feels more 'Astronaut' than 'God' by giving a sense of floating around in outer space away from activity (like how you will feel if you're cremated ash in a jar and parsecs away from life and all activies, in vacuum, and it's a sound I've been so long waiting for). The incorporation of jazz elements gives it a finer finishing. Unlike the marvelous introduction 'The Last March, the conclusion, 'Light Years From Home', seemed anti-climactic, and that's a flaw in this album. Best tracks in my opinion are 'Reverse World', 'Autumn Song', and 'Strange Steps'. Overall, this album is a required buy only if you're an avid GIAA fan; other than that, stick to 'All Is Violent, All Is Bright'. (And damn, it makes amazing homework music!')… Full Review »

    Amazing post-rock crescendo music. It's resonances with my soul. And, when I'm listening this band, I dream that I naturally fly among the stars.
