This album doesn’t have the edginess of Psycho Tropical, or the pop gleam of Mystere.

It does however contain brilliantly kooky, immersive pop songs, which is what La Femme are about. What the album does lack is a killer song. Pschyo had Hypsoline and sur la planche, Mystere had Mycose (Cool Colorado is Mycose slowed down!) and exerciseur. La Femme are a video band first and

Love this! Song by song you can feel how fascinating sounds are flowing through the veins.

La Femme's passion for seeking out new (or vintage) sounds to add to their omnivorous pop is contagious, and never more so than on Paradigmes.

La Femme toss so many weird and interesting ideas against the wall, that for every gorgeous moment that sticks, there’s an awkward miss.

Paradigmes is an album that, whilst recalling a concession of progenitors, has no modern-day comparison.
