  1. Spin this disc even once, and you'll understand both the hype and the varied reaction.

The group aims for a mix of artistry and cred, a la N.E.R.D. or the Beastie Boys, but their music is rarely as catchy. [Aug 2004, p.130]
  3. Bumblebeez brings loose, frenetic energy to a mash-up of likely and unlikely sources.
  4. Frankly, it could be much worse.
  5. Compiling the best tracks from each of their previous releases to make one solid EP would've been a better introduction to the band than The Printz is.
  6. Christopher Colonna's partly annoying, wholly unintelligible emceeing on ''Pony'' could not possibly prepare you for the nasal pseudosnarl of lady rapper Vila, who dominates the album's latter half.

The two singles, Pony Ride and Come Ova, A brilliant international debut that does justice to the pristine mayhem of the Aussie EP's. The two singles, Pony Ride and Come Ova, are genre defying, twisted visulisations that exist in the warped mind of Chrils Colonna. These snapshots of psychodrama are splashed throughout the beats that accompany the "freshest MC in the land"(Pink Fairy Floss), Villa Colonna. The whole thing wreaks of the lunacy that the Bumblebeez 81 bring to their live shows. Full Review »
