    It's amazing how they can keep putting out good EPs and keep innovating after 7 years, the voices of red velvet really adapt very well, they never disappoint

    It's a solid mini album, the title is really good and the visuals really match them. Now, it isn't my favorite Red Velvet project, they are on their comfort zone + there aren't many memorable songs. It's good, but it could be better.

    it's not their fault if people created expectation for the korean summer, the vocals are mature..

    Queendom was enjoyable. Each song is good.
    But this album was not their best. I'll give 8

    I missed Red Velvet a lot. They are just different from all the k-pop groups. The best. I love that they are re-introducing themselves through this album after a long hiatus.

    The album is cohesive and filled with great tracks. Queendom (song) is a fun and catchy bop with great repeat value. Knock on Wood and Pushin N' Pullin are r&b goodness that no other k-pop group can pull off as well as Red Velvet.

    All of the members' singing skills are clearly highlighted in all tracks and the "rap" lines fit well in the songs. It, however, lacks character and does not

    The album isn't bad but RV could def do better. They have some great bsides but the title in my opinion is one of their weakest titles. Psycho for me it's one of the best kpop songs so I must say after waiting so much for the next album I kind of disappointed

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Overall, this mini album is good and represents a good comeback of Red Velvet after the career break, individually the following tracks were good highlights in the album:
    - "Queendom" is the perfect title track, very well chosen, it has a memorable and addictive beat to it;
    - "Knock on wood" is a surprise, with an addictive, modern and complex instrumental, and it makes you wanna dance on a dance floor like it's the last night of a special trip;
    - "Pushin' N Pullin'" is not one of the best tracks on the album, but it positively showcases the group's versatility, exposing the maturity and elegance that this new phase of Red Velvet intends to provide;
    - "Hello, Sunset" it's a romantic, mellow side of the group previously seen in songs like "Take It Slow", and it closes the album majestically.

    Queendom was a safe choice for a comeback after a years hiatus. Although not red velvets best albums this album shows red velvet musical personality and would be a great starter album for new listeners of red velvet.

    The title track Queendom is a bright song that is filled with messages of confidence. It's probably one of the weaker songs on the album but that's not to say it's bad. Pose

    Pose is one of the albums best songs it honestly serves so much charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent it holds up as an instant hit.

    The other songs on the album are just amazing b sides that are so great to listen to and can be repeated non stop.

    This whole album is good. Not the best red velvet album but it's still great to listen to and enjoy.

    While Queendom isn't the most impactful musical project of the year, it is definitely enjoyable - a light song sequence that follows the classical traits of the 90s and 00s western pop, when celebrating yourself and talking about mellow love through R&B-pop compositions (like 'Hello, Sunset') were part of the playbook. And it is full of simple, catchy and relatable lyrics with well-thought-out hooks.

    It’s easy to see why the bright and engaging “Queendom” is the lead single of the mini-album. But one truth about Red Velvet is that their albums often have some of the best b-sides in K-pop (like “Cool World”, “Body Talk”, “Kingdom Come”, and “Sunny Side Up!”). Queendom is no exception to that rule.

    Their innate knack for pulling off whatever genre is thrown at them remains stronger than ever. It ticks all the boxes that fans would want for a Red Velvet album and has, naturally, great replay value.
