A very good album with a lot of experimental sounds, makes it feel like an old skrillex but with more knowledge about music

It takes the meme out of dubstep while pushing the genre forward in an exciting direction.

The entire album is trying to be carried by the features because the production is just so empty and lifeless, people like to call skrillex a production god but he is not showing it making all these tracks with empty trap beats and 0 passion in them. There are a couple good songs carried by the collaborators but that's it.

This album is just soulless. Cramming as many features as possible might carry it. There's a couple good songs (Personally I like Hydrate, Rumble, Tears, and Ratatat). Sonny could've done so much better for someone so acclaimed in the EDM world. This album while it has a few outliers, is about as consistent as tap water

Más alla de la primera impresión, todos los sonidos están bien producidos, al igual que DGTC.
Es normal, no entender el álbum a primera vista, porque es algo nuevo, pero llega a ser un muy buen trabajo con vista hacia el futuro.

Getting into electronic music around the time Skrillex released his first album, I was intrigued by the heavier side of the genre. As I got older I grew out of that sound, but hearing this album brought me back to that same excited feeling. It has a much more laid back sound then his earlier stuff, and that’s why I vibe with it so much. A great follow up to Recess. Skrillex is dubstep back to its roots and showing off his immaculate sound design. I appreciate the collaborations he has throughout the album (porter robinson, fred again, four tet, noisia, joker, etc...). I feel this may be another project by Skrillex that heavily impacts and influences the EDM genre. Can't wait to see what is next for Sonny

For me one of the best albums ever made. The pandemic may have impacted the launch plans... Skrillex is the real GOAT

If you are looking for sound design and true quality, this is it.

The tracks on Quest for Fire go for instant dancefloor gratification, but they're far more refined and nuanced than the brostep ragers that made Skrillex a household name in the early 2010s.

Listening to the album feels like opening a time capsule to the early and mid-10s, a period marked by a cheesy, over-the-top hedonism that might only be truly understood if you survived the Great Recession and saw Obama become president twice. ... It's easier to get behind Quest For Fire when Moore's dubstep influences are subtler.

Perhaps some of this record suffers from thin songwriting but the drops, so clearly the main attraction here, are characterful, razor-sharp and banging.
