No matter the name, it's impressive that O'Hagan continues to examine this one small corner of the musical universe, still finding new ways to combine sounds in ways that please the ear and stimulate the mind.

The album is a weird third cousin to Todd Rundgren's A Wizard, A True Star, where ideas pop up and vanish as the restless mind of the creator moves on to something else. That sometimes leaves the listener slightly baffled, but never bored. And definitely intrigued.
