Great album, from me even better than their collaboration on Raising sand in 2007. I just keep listening to it and after several repeats, it sounds even better. The highest level of musicianship from both sides, also very good arrangements and production by T-Bone Burnett. Excellent!

It often feels like they're delighted that they're making an album that lives up to their debut, and it's hard not to share their thrill.

Raise the Roof, also produced by Burnett, is the dark and spacey counterpart to Plant and Krauss’ first release, with covers that span from modern indie-folk band Calexico to early Delta blues musician Geeshie Wiley.
