The combination of Swift’s meticulously re-worked instrumentals (State Of Grace, The Lucky One), vocal strength and maturity (All Too Well, Everything Has Changed) and new incredible ‘vault’ tracks make this album a 10/10… minus the awful new version of Girl At Home andTaylor Swift encapsulates the chaos of love, heartbreak, sadness, joy, grief and perseverance in RED (Taylor’s Version).     The announcement of the releases came with their highs and lows. One of the highs obviously being Taylor's control of her art but one low that reverberated within the fandom is the songs we've grown to love although the same wouldn't sound it. And this fear was carried onto what is possibly my favourite Taylor Swift album "Red". But they were misplaced. And this fear was carried onto what is possibly my favourite Taylor Swift album "Red". But they were misplaced. This album feels just as entralling with a deep nostalgia. There's this sense of paging through a scrapbook of 2012. All your favourites still here and some centerpieces improved upon. The 10min "all too well" is far from disappointing although it fails to elevate the original masterpiece but it does play like a complete telling, like turning the page on the last page to find a letter from the author. It's so detailed and direct without succumbing to it's runtime.
    The original tracklist is still captivating but the exciting promise of unheard vault tracks is satisfying. The vault highlight "nothing new" featuring indie sad core Taylor Swift aka Phoebe Bridgers is a melancholy we haven't seen from both of them. Filled with sharp lines that leave you saying "omg" an embarrassing amount of time. The ed sheeran duet is an entertaining extensions of "everything has changed " sincerity. This is a fulfilling reimagining of a beloved classic. Sure to be a staple in on coming year end lists.    … Expand

    Absolutely fantastic recreation of one of her best albums. The vault tracks all add to the story that the album tells, and the 10 minute version of All Too Well is essentially poetry set to music. The new versions of Begin Again, Sad Beautiful Tragic, Treacherous, and The Moment I Knew are even better than the originals, and Nothing New and Forever Winter are major standouts from the vaultAbsolutely fantastic recreation of one of her best albums.     Taylor is and has always been my biggest inspiration. I knew that Red (Taylor’s Version) was going to be phenomenal but I have to say that it is BEYOND ravaging. I am seriously at a loss for words. Moreover, knowing that she finally owns it makes me the happiest. I strongly recommend you to try and give it a listen, also reading the lyrics.     I can't believe she made such a good recording, I mean, I would rather listen to these re-recordings more than the old ones and not only to support her but because they are really good.
    And the vault tracks especially All Too well ( ten minute version) Nothin New and Forever Winter are so sad and good

    9 years later, and this re-recorded version takes what was great about the original album and only adds to it with updated production, crisp instrumentals, and more matural vocals from Taylor Swift.

The album tracks are made even clearer. Stay Stay Stay doesn't sound too juvenile. Girl At Home that used to sound like a demo was upgraded to a twerkable 1989-esque production.     This album is as amazing as you can ever expect! I have been listening to RED since middle school and now I’m already a master student. This album has given me so much fun and emotional pleasure. Not that it’s about happiness but the pleasure of being able to experience what she’s been through and what we can relate. This album must have its place in the music history. Masterpiece indeed!

    Anyone who knows taylor swift knows how important songwriting and owning her work is for her, this album serves both of those purposes. And this masterpiece of an album has meant so much for her and Taylor and her fans. It's beautiful, delicate, tough, fun and sadall at the same time. The lyrics are to die for, her storytelling abilities really shine through this album.

    Like watching the Creation of Adam but it is the creation of an icon.

    The vocals are so much better, she sounds like she is looking back with nostalgia, trying to help the girl she was. The Vault songs fall like pieces into place and it is an amazing body of work!

Starting off, there are thirty tracks, 9 of which are from the vault songs. All Too Well was already an incredible song, the ten minute version, was outstanding. Lines like “Just between us, did the love affair maim you, too?
    'Cause in this city's barren cold
    I still remember the first fall of snow
    And how it glistened as it fell
    I remember it all too well”, were perfect. The song is so long, yet, the time goes by so fast, because the song is so good. Some honorable mentions are, Better Man, Babe, Nothing New, Forever Winter, Run, and The Very First Night. Secondly, Taylor’s voice sounds much more expensive, crisp, strong, and mature, than on the original version of Red. The songs on the album like All Too Well, are explained so well, that you can picture the story in your head. Overall 10/10. I love this album.    … Expand

    Even though it is - as TS said herself - a patchwork of different genres, everything on Red works so beautifully together because it sounds exactly how heartbreak feels. All the features are perfectly paired and All Too Well 10MV is THE definition of art. Will be listening to it until my last day on this earth. Thank you, Taylor.

Las canciones que no me lograron conquistar en tanto tiempo como The Lucky One, 22, y Starlight ahora las adoro, mejoraron bastante y no sólo ellas, todo el álbum lo hizo, incluyendo las canciones que ya eran perfectas. Su voz actual, los arreglos, la producción, entre otros factores hacen de Red (Taylor's Version) uno de los mejores trabajos de su carrera.

    En cuanto a los Vault Tracks, es una gran oportunidad de recopilar todas las historias que quedaron fuera del álbum, y que esta vez expresan la verdadera esencia de Red al estar las 30 canciones juntas. Canciones como Ronan, Nothing New, y Forever Winter le dan otra perspectiva al álbum que se inspiraba originalmente en un amor tumultuoso, temerario, y explosivo. La versión de 10 minutos de All Too Well es sin duda la mejor adición al tracklist, un himno de los fans que tras años de espera ha llegado a nosotros en su forma original y en todo su esplendor, superó las espectativas. Y en general, estas 9 canciones inéditas comprenden los diferentes géneros a los que Taylor nos ha estado acostumbrando, y encajan perfectamente bien juntos, el country en I Bet You Think About Me, el pop en Message In A Bottle, y un sonido más indie-folk en Run, por ejemplo.

    El álbum dura 2 horas, y aún así no se siente largo o pesado, es ideal para escucharlo durante un viaje o un paseo largo. El concepto de Red se basa en un poema de Pablo Neruda en donde dice "Es tan corto el amor, y es tan largo el olvido", y lo representa a la perfección, un álbum largo que recuerda con amor, ternura, dolor, o amargura amores y sucesos que marcaron la vida. El cambio en algunas canciones es más evidente que en Fearless (Taylor's Version), pues se aleja del sonido country que Red poseía encaminándose más al pop y al rock, en canciones como State Of Grace, Red, o Girl At Home en donde es más notorio el cambio que tuvo, mientras que en su mayoria mejora mucho la producción, agregando detalles que en las canciones originales no estaban como por ejemplo el final de I Almost Do, Treacherous, Everything Has Changed, entre otras. De todos modos, no pierde su esencia original y se mantiene fiel a su primera versión.

    Y la mejor parte de todo es que Taylor Swift ahora es dueña de este álbum en su totalidad, y aunque en el pasado Red no fue del todo lo que ella quería que fuese, por restricciones de su antigua discográfica, ahora que es dueña de sacar la música que quiere y cuando quiere, ha publicado la verdadera versión del álbum. Y aún quedan otros 4 álbumes por recuperar y superar.    … Expand

    Taylor can really put all 30 songs in an album including the b sides & vault tracks yet all of them fit together like a standard album. Red (Taylor's Version) will always be known as one of the break-up anthem album ever made that will go down in history books. Just impressive.

The vault tracks are amazing and half of them sound like they are straight from the 1989 vault. The ten-minute version of All Too Well is amazing but I'm not going to spoil it as it is an experience that shouldn't be ruined by anyone. Going through the original album, it's clear that Taylor went line-by-line as she did with "Fearless" to improve any way she could. "Girl At Home" has totally new ELVIRA production and "Treacherous" with Taylor's continually improving vocals just help tremendously. This album is insane top to bottom!… Expand

    Her new magnum opus. Sprawling, epic, and triumphant. While nothing can recreate what it felt like to first hear Red in 2012, this is as close to that sensation as we will get. One of the greatest albums of all time has been remade into one of the greatest albums of all time.

    I loved RED (Taylor's Version) it keeps the feeling of the old original songs while her vocals sound much more mature and fresh, for someone whose first cd was the og RED this album speaks to my heart. The vault tracks are also amazing and they add to the album so much. Getting ATW 10 minute version is going to definitely be a highlight in my life!

    I’m a RED stan. I just can’t believe I was able to reexperience this album now with clearer and crispier matured Taylor vocals, fresh production especially for Girl at Home, the never before heard from the vault tracks and ofcourse the much awaited 10 minute version of All Too Well. As a Swiftie you will never understand how happy we are for this release.

    One of the best álbum i EVER heard, i can't explain how this songs can make you feel, happy, free, confused and lonely at the same time, it is magic, it is like the lyrics of a book that transmits emotions to you and in its final chapter you cannot believe everything you cried from the beginning. It is a piece of art.

    Truth is that this is now the definitive version of Red. It may also ensure that the good old boys who casually sold her music, seemingly out of a mixture of greed and spite, won’t get one red cent from Red, and it proves you can take a masterpiece and make it sound even better.

    The highlight of these is a ten-minute version of "All Too Well," a bitter ballad that was already one of the peaks of Red and is now turned into an epic kiss-off. This, along with excavated songs, are reason enough for Swift to revisit Red and they, not the re-recordings, are the reason to return to Red [Taylor's Version].
