While less vulnerable than Lemonade, RENAISSANCE takes the reins as Beyoncé's grandest record to date because of the technical achievements in production and seemingly effortless experimentation without losing any of her lyrical cool. ... Beyoncé's RENAISSANCE is a modern classic.
  2. 100
The catalog of touchstones, samples, and cameos on Renaissance could double as a syllabus for a master class on the evolution of dance music as it has unfolded during Beyoncé's lifetime.
  3. 90
Renaissance is one of Beyoncé’s best albums to date: it doesn’t walk in the footsteps of its predecessors but instead makes its own path, going to places we didn’t think Beyoncé would go. The six years since her last effort have well and truly been worth the wait.
  4. Aug 4, 2022
Renaissance is both backward-looking and forward-thinking. A colorful, euphoric and glittery celebration of what has passed and what is still to come.
  5. Jul 29, 2022
Due in part to its tonal variety and expert sequencing, Renaissance never feels monotonous, despite its near-relentless forward motion.

Beyoncé's seventh solo album is a flawlessly structured feast. [Oct 2022, p.25]
  7. Aug 9, 2022
Beyoncé is clearly itching to experiment with her sound. This latest album may not be her most cohesive release, but it does come with a handful of well-executed surprises. ... The album falls flat when it tries too hard to immerse itself in a culture that does not belong to Beyoncé.

None of her albums sound the same! This is a masterpiece! Not scared to explore sounds! Even if it means displeasing others.

Nothing has ever emerged as **** as this assortment of songs. Ten, ten, ten across the board.

Very unusual album from Beyonce. Although not a masterpiece like Lemonade was, I like how it is pretty unusual and in some cases strange. TheVery unusual album from Beyonce. Although not a masterpiece like Lemonade was, I like how it is pretty unusual and in some cases strange. The best thing about this album is how the songs are "mixed" and transit immediatelly from one to next one; like Madonna's Confessions on a Dance Floor. Ny favourites: I'm That Girl, Alien Superstar and America Has A Problem. Expand

This is by far Beyoncé’s best album. What can’t Beyoncé sing or do with her amazing voice? Album Of The Year.
  6. Jul 29, 2022
Esse trabalho foge do que a Beyoncé já fez, é feliz, dançante, o Álbum que vc não pula nenhuma música.

El mejor álbum de la década, las transiciones, la producción, y los vocales trabajan genial!
