This album is just lost, everything on it makes it feel like they don´t know what to. It seems that on some tracks they just yelled at the microphone and hoped that something good happened, some songs makes it feel less worst but is difficult

A rock album with pop production. Catchy tracks with little to no substance make up the majority of this bloated album. Mark Chapman stands out as one of the best songs in the album. Mark Chapman stands out as one of the best songs in the album. Though I enjoyed MAMMAMIA, SUPERMODEL and THE LONELINEST as singles, I don't feel as though they really have a place within this project. At an exciting time in the band's career, with their introduction to America and wider Europe following their Eurovision win in 2021, the influence of their global success can be seen in the more generic and anglicised music found on RUSH. Not an unenjoyable album but definitely one which does not reflect the potential of a band like Maneskin. I am a fan of Maneskin and hope that they can recapture the energy of Teatro d'ira Vol. I in their future projects. Expand

I was weary disappointed with this album. After Teatro d’Ira vol.1 I expected an album very similar to this, but with more English songs, and… I don’t want to say it’s bad, cuz it’s not, but some songs have no personality, boring music/text, and are saved(in my opinion) by amazing solo. Hopefully their next album will be continuation of Teatro.

None of the 17 songs waste any time getting where they're ultimately going. ... Seriously, it's time to believe. [Apr 2023, p.74]

Rush!, their first album recorded mainly in English, is absolutely terrible at every conceivable level: vocally grating, lyrically unimaginative, and musically one-dimensional. It is a rock album that sounds worse the louder you play it.

With 17 mostly terrific songs (three sung in Italian), only one breaking the four-minute mark, the collection has the jittery intensity of a lion pacing before feeding time. ... Perhaps we could have done without the closing power ballad “The Loneliest,” but that’s the only misstep on an album that should thrust this band into worldwide superstar status.
