Whatever the reason, Seen It All: The Autobiography shakes off all the challenges of Jeezy's lesser releases and finds new inspiration from the same old rap sheet.

Seen It All: The Autobiography is a solid offering, and shows growth of Tha Snowman who is 10 years deep in the rap game.

On his seventh studio album, however, he’s reinvigorated, dipping a toe into some of rap’s newer stylistic trends.

On the whole though, while it might not be a classic, Seen It All will go down in hip-hop history as yet another dope album from an artist who's had an enormous (although under-rated) impact on rap.

A strong collection full of vintage, uncompromising Atlanta bangers.

At its very best, Seen It All is a glimpse into how Jeezy can make his living on the back nine in a crowded subgenre with no use for him anymore: By recalling the most chilling details of his drug dealing past with a flashback-like crispness.

This is a strong, if unimaginative album.

The usual Jeezy tropes of hustling and encouraging others to also hustle haven't gone anywhere — the rote "Been Getting Money (featuring Akon)" could be plopped on any Jeezy album and no one would notice--but there's a heap of real-life wisdom here, too.

His voice remains a powerful, if inexpressive, instrument--like a gong, or something--but it feels out of place in the fraught electric guitars of “1-4 Block,” or the Mike Will Made It psychedelia of “4 Zones.”

He tends to repeat himself and his punchlines lack punch--but Seen It All is an album you can listen to start to finish and not hate yourself for buying it.

It’s by no means a bad record, but won’t be the trap pioneer’s most memorable either.

Seen It All: The Autobiography doesn’t deliver on either one of its titular promises.

Seen It All doesn't show Jeezy evolving into anything he hasn't already been, but it does crystallize his place in the pop-rap pecking order.

Backed by mostly familiar trap music production, Jeezy is steady (“Been Getting Money” is especially fine), but hardly inspired.

If nothing else, Jeezy has proven that he's consistently good. He's never released an album recognized as great, but he's also never put out a record anything less than above average. I enjoyed this album, and there are several songs that I'll be revisiting for a long time. ~ 7.7/10

    Best songs:
~ "Seen It All" (feat. Jay Z): Jeezy is good, the production is exceptional, and Jay Z delivers an honest, masterful, hype-af-for-real-rap-fans verse.
    ~ "Holy Ghost"
    ~ "Me OK"
