It sounds a lot like Kid Rock's new CD, but it is still original and great to listen to.

A worthy effort by a great artist ...but I do think Kracker needs to consider putting some rap tracks on his next album...

Uncle Kracker lost a whole bunch of originality by making such a bad album. There are a few good songs like "Writing it down", but it remains crap.

Has only two good songs on it. Forget the rest. I'm going to puke.

I dislike every song on this record. Exept maybe the lead single. The worst of it is that it actually works.

This is far too boring and uninspired to be callled music.

Country-crossover schmaltz. Kracker's Southernisms feel a LOT rote and undigested. He should stick to Kenny Chesney style.

"Some Things You Can't Take Back " is the only nice song. I frown at the way he has change. Why did it had to be so irrevelant?

Rightfully the worst album on Metacritic. Too much bad songs and not enough drum on it. Forget it.

  1. Confused rock and r&b conceits wander into onrushing 16-wheelers of c&w—barbershop quartet-ish background vox, crisp git-fiddle plucks, lyrics equal parts syrup and cheer. The tightrope he's walking is dental floss, but he still leans into every note.
  2. Seventy Two & Sunny breezes by with the worst kinds of countrified clichés... sung by a guy who was never meant to carry a harmony.
  3. Country-crossover schmaltz.
