So It Goes, is a fresh new underground Hip-Hop experience that doesn't come off as too pretentious or too over the top. Lots of really great production layered with tons of different sounds and offset and wacky beats that have a Brooklyn Hip-Hop and UK Garage-Footwork feel to them. Wiki and Hak are really good on this album too, a lot better than the EP in my opinion. Wiki and Hak are really good on this album too, a lot better than the EP in my opinion. Even though Wiki and Hak are really young, they know how to throw in some really good bars and flows and know how to mix it up on the fly a lot better than most rappers you hear today.

BUT..... There is a lot of improvement that could have been made here. Some of the singing kind of throws me off (especially Wavy Spice on Puerto Rican Judo), and sometimes the beats drag on a little too long. The album doesn't really paint any pictures cause it doesn't really cover any deep topics. Also, just my personal opinion, but i feel like this album is a little bit too unintelligible for me to fully 100% fall in love with this. And what separates them from groups like Death Grips is that DG sounds unintelligible on purpose to paint this unique dark character throughout their albums, while in real life the artist are pretty intelligent people who just want to represent their dark idea the best way possible. Here though, the guys just sound too intelligible cause that's maybe how they are in real life. I feel like these guys will become a hell of a lot better once they grow older.

All I'm sayin is, is that the album is pretty good. But don't listen to it unless you wanna hear a kid who sounds like a younger more hardcore version of Zack de la Rocha that sounds unintelligent.

Although i'm not a huge fan of the hip hop scene, i feel this will probably be one of the standout records of the genre this year. A new fresh record with some pretty original sounds and does a really good job of modernizing and recreating the urban jungle from which this album really comes from.

Not super experimental, but way off the beaten path. Lots to love, a little left to be desired, but extremely promising for a young groups' first effort. Canal and So Sick Stories are particularly good.
Production is tight, delivery is tight, and most of the features are on point.

I was introduced to this band through their single "So Sick Stories" which I really liked, but this album as a whole is defiantly goes above and beyond the expectations set by "So Sick Stories". The lyrics are amazing, the back-tracks are great, and the flow is smooth. All I have is love for album. Songs like "Canal" and "So It Goes" really stick out. Ratking is the best hip hop group to come out of New York City since Wu-Tang Clan. this is the most illest album that i've ever heard in my life. straight original.

So It Goes comes as close to hardcore as an album with this sonic palette can: dense, immediate, energetic, and uniquely inclusive.

Wiki's flow is like a paint gun blasting out beautiful graffiti; Hak's warm hooks balance it all out.

There’s often a disconnect between the production and what’s going on vocally, the two elements at times even working at cross purposes.
