This mixtape was a definite absolute waste of music streaming traffic and deeply regret any other artists great mixtape streaming inconvenience it may have caused to the public.

Wayne's work ethic is probably his most endearing quality, but of course when you're producing a ridiculous amount of music the quality can become stretched. Hardcore Wayne fans will be satisfied, but what the hip-hop community is really interested in is Tha Carter V.

On Sorry 4 the Wait 2, he's enjoying being Lil Wayne again, for better or worse. It also feels like rapping is once more a choice rather than a contractual obligation, which, at this point, might be the single greatest compliment one can pay Lil Wayne.

It’s the heated Cash Money conflict that’s carrying the project, no question, but aside from some of his singles and featured verses, this is as focused and engaging as we’ve heard Wayne since Tha Carter III. S4TW2 falls short of being a great standalone project, but it’s not built for that anyway.

That's part of what makes Sorry 2 so much fun: it's inconsistent, flailing and completely unpredictable.
