    I'm not into country music, so if anyone else is like me take this as a sign to check out this album. Yola is electrifyingly confident and buzzing with enthusiasm. This records slaps harder than my father after a few beers on a weekday. Definitely coming back to this one

    Such a great body of work! The album has Tina Turner and Donna Summer vibes with her signature country.

    This album is incredible! Yola never sounded so confident and sensible as on this project.
    One of the albums of the year, for sure!!!

    the voice and feeling that each song has is amazing of the few albums released this year that stays perfect from start to finish

    Best album I've listened to this year. Yola paves the way to become one of the greats of blues/soul/new Americana, like a wonderful child of Elton John and Mavis Staples.

    Yola's voice is absolutely gorgeous and the fusion between country & soul really fits her this project is so refreshing. Wonderful work from start to finish very much recommend it.
