    Whether or not it's as good as The Luca Brasi Story is irrelevant, though at this point the two are about even. The highs on Luca Brasi are higher and the lows are lower, but Stranger Than Fiction is a much more consistent listen.

    Minor issues like that [decision to release Stranger Than Fiction as a hybrid album/mixtape led to some questionable choices] make Stranger Than Fiction very good rather than great, but Gates hasn’t sacrificed any of the characteristics that garnered all this recent attention.

    I think this is Kevin Gate's best album so far, saying this in March, 2016, so that statement accounts for even the albums he's had sinceI think this is Kevin Gate's best album so far, saying this in March, 2016, so that statement accounts for even the albums he's had since then. Songs such as Money Magnet, White Tan, 4:30am, Smiling Faces, Tiger, and Thinking With My D*ck are all some of his best. Definitely worth a listen. Gates is at his best on these tracks, solidifying his reputation as one of the top rappers in business right now.… Full Review »
