That’s just the best album released in 2022. She took me to heaven! Can’t get over it.

Initially I wasn’t too crazy about this album. After giving it time it has definitely grown on me which, is often the case with many of my favourite layers. There’s so many high moments and the production is fantastic! Some of my favourite tracks are Want Want, Anywhere with you, Horses and Shatter

Maggie Rogers chose the best musical transformation, using electric guitars and drums as a show of strength and influence, and framing her writing skills, which have grown significantly since the release of the last album.
"Surrender" is the best expression of the alternative-indie genre, telling stories of love, loss and vulnerability, the change of rhythm from track to track fits
Maggie Rogers chose the best musical transformation, using electric guitars and drums as a show of strength and influence, and framing her writing skills, which have grown significantly since the release of the last album.
"Surrender" is the best expression of the alternative-indie genre, telling stories of love, loss and vulnerability, the change of rhythm from track to track fits perfectly with the overall concept of the album, as well as the atmosphere of the entire era, including video clips, cover art.
Maggie deserves a lot as a songwriter and as an artist, her vocals are individual, have many shades, have no limits.
The released album reveals a new side of Rogers, experimenting with sound and writing, she creates something more vulnerable than "Heard It In A Past Life".

A very solid sophomore album for Maggie. One or two hiccups but overall I enjoyed it very much.

An excellent album and a Maggie's rise, this record is so much experimental than the other and sounds really good.

A really solid indie/pop/rock album that lyrically and sonically is an improvement over Heard It In A Past Life. Favorite Tracks: Want Want, Shatter, That’s Where I Am, Overdrive, Horses Least Favorite Track: I’ve Got A Friend

If Heard It in a Past Life was the culmination of the Maggie Rogers who broke through from indie folk artist to viral sensation; Surrender sounds more secure and less eager to prove itself.

There’s barely a weak track on Surrender, and it’s a record that’s destined to appear on a lot of ‘end of year’ lists come December. The fact that this is only Maggie Rogers’ second album is astonishing, given the level of confidence and ability that shines through it.

Rogers is rejuvenated, and full of ideas, and thankfully, it seems she is here to stay.
