  1. Oct 20, 2011
Tape Club is a fine time capsule for their first decade together.
  2. Oct 20, 2011
Tape Club's winning collection of songs should finally get some well-deserved exposure to prove that SSLYBY has nothing to be embarrassed about.
  3. Oct 20, 2011
A chronological ordering gives a sense to the band's progress, a definite perk, but the big payoff with Tape Club is that it offers a chance to see through to the heart of SSLYBY's songs and realize how charming they can be without the big-league production.
  4. Oct 20, 2011
There are great pop songs on Tape Club, and it does remind us there is life after the hype-dam bursts, but most of us are better off picking up Let It Sway to see what Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin are all about.
  5. Oct 20, 2011
Like most b-side or rarities collections, this double-disc excursion seems more like the band's excuse to make some extra cash than to offer a glimpse into their evolution.
  6. Nov 2, 2011
Tape Club has some strong moments, but they're too often reminders of a band that seems to have lost its magic somewhere along the way.
  7. 40
The songs here seldom rise above the level of being really cute.
