Score distribution:
  1. Positive: 4 out of 7
  2. Negative: 0 out of 7
  1. Mystikal really couldn't ask for better production, overall -- all the tracks have bouncy, ass-shakin', club-ready beats, and nearly all have quite catchy hooks
  2. 80
What holds the whole thing together is still the wicked combination of Mystikal's shotgun bark and the Neptunes' bumpin' production.
  3. A marked improvement over the lively but uneven Let's Get Ready, Tarantula suggests that the raspy-voiced rapper's run at the top of the charts won't abate any time soon.
  4. Uncut
    70
It frequently sounds terrific. [Apr 2002, p.104]
  5. There's a tiny bit more to Mystikal than mere male piggery set to damn fine production.
  6. Blender
    60
On Tarantula, Mystikal futher refines his formula. [Feb/Mar 2002, p.114]
  7. Q Magazine
    40
An underwhelming, cursory thing. [Mar 2002, p.125]
