    My favorite album. Dark in some parts, light when it needs to be, and all around heavy. Top to bottom this album shows through in through howMy favorite album. Dark in some parts, light when it needs to be, and all around heavy. Top to bottom this album shows through in through how different Counterparts is from all other hardcore bands. The technical aspect this band brings to the hardcore genres makes you never want to listen to simple structured songs again for example check tracks "Soil" and "Cursed". The lyrics are much more ambiguous than their previous material, which makes it some much more interesting to listen to and to discover their true meanings. I can't see how anyone who would call themselves a "hardcore" fan not think this album is perfect.… Expand

    Very good album. Looks like Counterparts grew up just a bit. The music is still loud and excellent and the lyrics are well written. IVery good album. Looks like Counterparts grew up just a bit. The music is still loud and excellent and the lyrics are well written. I discovered this band back in 12 and have liked all of their material. This by far is my favorite album from them. Very few albums I can listen to from start to finish this is one of them. Check them out you will not be disappointed.… Expand
