The Mobb aren't exactly reinventing the wheel here, but on album highlight "Timeless," the effect is beguilingly hypnotic.

The Infamous Mobb Deep is a must-have in a true Mobb Deep fan’s collection. Crafting such a quality hip-hop album, two decades after your magnum opus, is a remarkable feat.

The Infamous Mobb Deep is a return to the roots of their artistic consciousness, substantiated almost 20 years ago, and with fine precision.

The Infamous Mobb Deep is an enjoyable journey for long time fans of the group, but for newcomers it's a hefty two hour plus tome that can't be taken in one sitting.

The new Infamous is good enough, another in the sting of solid but unremarkable rehashes of the original formula that both members have been trickling out for years now. [May 2014, p.74]

The duo's mean, scrappy eighth album is the first to truly embrace their underdog status, wrapping itself in the low-fi, Walkman-ready vibe that has dominated the best of founding members Prodigy's and Havoc's solo work on indie labels.

Taken as a whole, the album is exactly the sort of hastily tossed-off, forgettable project that legacy acts will sometimes tack onto can't-miss releases such as this. It's a shame they did.

The Infamous is by far one of the best Hip-hop albums of all time. Every track tackles a new street subject with amazing lyricism andThe Infamous is by far one of the best Hip-hop albums of all time. Every track tackles a new street subject with amazing lyricism and storytelling. The features are all amazing. The instrumental is so grimy and dark which perfectly combines with Prodigy and Havoc's bars. This is one of the only albums that can compete with Illmatic and in my opinion it even surpasses it. Overall perfect album Expand

One of the best ever released but the junction of this one with shook ones...
