The duo's mean, scrappy eighth album is the first to truly embrace their underdog status, wrapping itself in the low-fi, Walkman-ready vibe that has dominated the best of founding members Prodigy's and Havoc's solo work on indie labels.

Taken as a whole, the album is exactly the sort of hastily tossed-off, forgettable project that legacy acts will sometimes tack onto can't-miss releases such as this. It's a shame they did.

The instrumental is so grimy and dark which perfectly combines with Prodigy and Havoc's bars. This is one of the only albums that can compete with Illmatic and in my opinion it even surpasses it. Overall perfect album Full Review »
