  1. They've got a rough, nervy, lo-fi take on power rock that has the weird immediacy of the Microphones' Mount Eerie.
  2. Alternative Press

Powerful drum beats user along the sometimes-Jack White, sometimes-Mick Jones vocals, while the guitar croons expressively throughout these low-key, lo-fi songs. [Aug 2003, p.96]
  3. It's the stuff that a thousand indie rock records are made of, basted, breaded and cooked to perfection.
  4. If you're looking for a less structured, more experimental 764-Hero-style band, these two guys do it quite well.
  5. It sounds as if Atkins and Plummer had merely sucked down a few beers and bashed out some tunes in their garage over the weekend. This is not to undermine their talents, but rather to celebrate the basic energy of the record, which makes you want to suck down some beers yourself and have a go at the rock.
  6. Yes, it's all fairly predictable.
