    jadakiss, Cam'ron & Rick Ross brought it to the table on this album. I love gucci and the way he spit on this album and his guests this album is 100% fire. Best Gucci Album

    A southern masterpiece that, as of late, has been criminally underrated. Gucci Mane is a mindless thug to most but hidden behind his gangsterisms is a witty, intelligent and skillful man. While largely simple is subject matter, Gucci is more than technically profecient. Like, Eminem, Cam'ron and dare I say it, MF Doom, Gucci is a master and impressive commander of bending syllables:A southern masterpiece that, as of late, has been criminally underrated. Gucci Mane is a mindless thug to most but hidden behind his gangsterisms is a witty, intelligent and skillful man. While largely simple is subject matter, Gucci is more than technically profecient. Like, Eminem, Cam'ron and dare I say it, MF Doom, Gucci is a master and impressive commander of bending syllables:

    "Like Tommy Lee and Pamela I'm **** on the camera
    More stamina Than Animals,
    Gucci is no amateur Jeru the Damaja,
    Could damage you or handle you.

    Just the opening to the harsh buzz saw synth heavy Photo shoot, annoyingly, a track restricted to the bonus edition. The album opens with 'Classical', a song with such a ridiculous chorus you seriously ponder weather Gucci was aiming for parody or not. Still, gucci goes in with a double time flow and throwing together clever bars. Guaranteed, the hook will throw many off but frankly, its pant wettingly funny.

    The production is a bouncy southern synth affair with spazzy bombastic beat drops that are as catchy as they are turn upable. The guest turn in some excellent performances, Lil' Wayne threatening "to put a pistol on your grandpa" and Nicki Minaj
    "You know I'm spoiled lil daddy, stomps the floor
    We can do it in 5th ave in the department store"

    Lemonade is the perfect gucci track, dizzying complex rhyme pattens, off kilter eccentricisms and a jaw dropping beat.

    Gucci mane is a talented rapper who is easy to look past as another trap joke. The songs arent cohesive but unlike his mixtapes they are studio ready and simarly to last years Carter III, this projects many faces give it a schizophrenic unhinged brilliance. He rarely shows any heart or lets his persona slip until the last track 'Worst Enemy' where Gucci offers an olive branch to long time Atlanta rivals, T.I. and Jeezy. Its a honest and satifying end to a thrilling project that gives us a peek at who gucci really is.

    Gucci Mane's best album to date. There are a bunch of memorable, catchy tracks here like Wasted, Gingerbread Man, Shirt Off, Lemonade, and Heavy. Gucci's hooks are contagious and although he seems like a self-unaware thug, he shows some signs of reflection and wit in his lyrics. Trap masters like Fatboi, Bangladesh, Mike Will Made It and Zaytoven provide the production highlights on the album.

    At the end of the day, The State vs. Radric Davis delivers the full spectrum of Gucci Mane, showing both the cash and yellow diamond-loving side, as well as his more reflective (or at least more self-aware) side.

    Like the singles "Spotlight" and "Wasted," the songs on the album that jump out most aren't the ones with creepy rhythms, but those with Gucci Mane's witty lyrical delivery.

    Mix this lovable simplicity with brilliant guest turns by Cam’ron, Lil Wayne and Rick Ross, amazing production by the Runners and Bangladesh, and Gucci’s exhilarating turns of phrase, blunt humour and excess charisma and you’ve got rap’s album of the year.
