    I've been a long time fan of Leftfield. Leftism is still in my top 10 all-time lists of the best electronic music ever. Maybe a slight less successful Rhythm and Stealth remains high as well. Alternative Light Source was IMHO the weakest album they made. It took me a while listening TIWWD to get some positive impressions (couple of listenings). First impression was not so positive. Music sounded generic, outdated, somehow stuck in the 90's. Though it isn't a bad thing after all. Mainly because Leftfield only released 4 albums in almost 30 years. They really don't need to follow music trends. Electronic music is probably the fastest changing music genre: So if you wanna be succesful you must follow trends who rapidly change in couple of months maybe a year or two maximum. Standout tracks are: Full Way Round, Making a Difference, Accumulator, Power of Listening. Progressive house mixed with dub and reggae and some techno still lingers on!… Expand

    The eleven tracks here are life-affirming and motivational, from the evocative mother and daughter scaling a mountainous landscape on the cover, to the big beats that pervade This Is What We Do. The problem with the album as a listening experience is that it lacks a change of pace.

    The album’s two mightiest bangers are already out: Pulse boasts the kind of bass and 808 combo that gets your rig banned from venues, and Accumulator layers elements on with the skill that comes from ratcheting up the pressure on ravers for 30 years. But there are more workouts here invoking everything from electro to the eeriness of Boards of Canada.
