Finally, a new album of one of the best Girlbands of the 90th.
The hits of 90th (here as a remastered version) still are virtually on the first day. The new songs sway between enough and property. This pulls the album under it, however a good comeback remains at the end.

In this LP, TLC prove that they can continue with their essence from the 90's, even without one of the stars of the group, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. At the same time, tracks like "Way Back" and "American Gold" seems very actual and good for the charts. It's not their best album, of course, but it's very TLC!

Album closer ‘Joy Ride’ does exactly what it says on the tin; it’s a joyous, perfectly assembled pop track. That’s not to say that the Kickstarter-funded LP is hit after hit--the bright and brash ‘It’s Sunny’ with its oddly theatrical tropes is a cheesy misstep.

As moving as it is to hear her and Chilli together for another album, the material is not up to par with TLC's past. Flashbacks are more likely than repeat play.

TLC doesn’t take any creative risks and, in doing so, ends up lukewarm and average.
