I miss the band already. Kevin is hot, Matt is hot, Merlyn is hot. So long Brockhampton

As a surprise final album this does what the band does best showcasing the vulnerable side to rap.

Brockhampton's 'TM' comes as a surprise release after what was advertised as their last album drop in the form of 'The Family', and it's one of Brockhampton's mostunderwhelming releases to date.

The album has a promising start with the opening track "FMG", a classic bouncy & hard-hitting Brockhampton track with unique out-of-the-box synths. The following track "ANIMAL" is a very groovy

The following track "ANIMAL" is a very groovy track with nostalgic vocals that reminded me of tracks from one of their early albums 'Saturation'. I'm also fond of the third track "LISTERINE", a track with great bass, perfect pacing, and catchy flows.

After the fifth track, however, the albums takes an awkward turn from the classic heavy hip-hop sounding Brockhampton to a softer, more relaxed vibe. Although "MAN ON THE MOON" is a fine track with eargasmic synths, it seems like it was thrown in an awkward place, especially following a track like "NEW SHOES" and "KEEP IT SOUTHERN". The rest of the album follows this calmer trend, making it tiring and bland to listen to, with only a few moments or glimmers of hope in some tracks.

Although this album was underwhelming, it was still a great memory of the chemistry and production quality this legendary group has.

It was quite a surprise after Family. KEET IT SOUTHERN / NEW SHOES / MAN ON THE MOON are very good

Yet another effortless display of ear-bending production, wild energy, and creative synergy from a team of preternaturally blessed artists.

‘TM’ feels like a classic BROCKHAMPTON record. Immaculate production, genre shapeshifting, and some of the cleanest verses from the group in quite some time. There’s no filler on the record either – just eleven tracks of pure BH instant classics.
