    Boxer was doubtlessly The National's high career point, but unfortunately, the albums since then have just felt a little bit too slow and down in the dumps. High Violet, though it is a generally good album, failed greatly to recapture some of the beats and grooves and remained a somewhat difficult, slow burner. And here, it's not that Trouble Will Find Me is just plain boring, its justBoxer was doubtlessly The National's high career point, but unfortunately, the albums since then have just felt a little bit too slow and down in the dumps. High Violet, though it is a generally good album, failed greatly to recapture some of the beats and grooves and remained a somewhat difficult, slow burner. And here, it's not that Trouble Will Find Me is just plain boring, its just that as a whole, it's too much of a drag and actually has far less of that familiar charisma that The National usually have.… Collapse
