For Fans of Babe Rainbow, you are in luck! Lots of percussion, soul and funk throughout. Has a vintage late 60s psychedelic sound with fun harmonies and guitar rifts. Great debut!

The results sound thin, contrived and ultimately laborious. [Aug 2020, p.89]

The True Story of Bananagun is as exciting and addictive as debut albums come, appropriately soundtracking a much-needed hope in the future of the genre while brightening up early summer in the northern hemisphere.

This is a warming, rewarding album that grows with each listen, blossoming and unfurling in front of you. If you can get past the intensity, and see through to the glowing heart at the centre of this record, it’ll keep you coming back again and again.
